Valentines Day

Everybody gets a bit soppy this time of year, the shops are filled with red flowers, heart shaped candy boxes and and guys wandering round with a dazed look in their eyes whilst trying to find their lady that special something.

Well Valentines Day this year has come to your doorstep as i have happily rummaged the sales for the ladies must buy items, and scoped some romance options for the lads. Don't worry the finds today range from £15 to £5,000 so there's something for all budgets.

                                                               Option 1: Dressing up
Outfit for the lovefest may be something simple yet gorgeous like the ruched satin crepe Nicole Miller dress as seen on HauteLook for $169

Looking for something a little bit slinkier or clingier maybe? Society for Rational Dress had this piece in their Fall '11 collection for $175. This silk waterprint cowl dress is also available in black.
P.S you can't see the back, but it's well worth a look on the site

AzzaroFor the ladies lucky enough to dress up fancy and go out on the town this stunning Azzaro 'Leslie' dress in this seasons petal pink is the epitome of elegance. If i were to suggest going out in a dress that had cutout sections replaced with metal links you may think cheap and trashy, but that can hardly be said about the above piece. I think i would cry tears of joy is i received this for Valentines day but whoever is lucky enough to purchase this for £5,075 think of me holding my big card and IOU for kisses.
Please if you do nothing else today check out AVENUE32 as they haver some AMAZE-ING pieces

                                                             Option 2: Jewellery
Four beautiful Keys make some lovely handmade jewellery pieces with bracelets from £15

Bowjangles provides a little bit of bling with bracelets like below coming in at a mere £20

This makes me think slightly of mediatation beads except filled with diamontes, but it leads nicely onto these chakra bracelets from Daisy on the Monica and Joe website http://monicaandjoe.co.uk/products/base-chakra-red-gold available for £86.00. They are available as throat, brow, crown, base, solar and sacral chakras corresponding to their coloured thread.
Base Chakra Red Gold Silver alternatives available for £58

Sometimes men want to give that gift that goes an extra mile, or that is without a price tag. Well may i recomend Erlenbach Studio and their custom made pieces, my favourite being Large Enamels
These gorgeous pieces can be found on her website http://www.erlenbach-studio.com/index.php and the price for this masterpiece can be found by contacting the seller directly :)

For those wanting their gift to mean something lovey dovey this 'Together Forever' necklace can be brought for £40 on Stella and Dot http://www.stelladot.co.uk/robynwinrow

                                                                  Option 3: Shoes
Solestruck has some amazing shoes that really make a statement... ladies do these excite you?
