As you can imagine, New York Fashion Week is filled to the brim with top designers showcasing their work. I could just list all designer and put one thumbnail with each and cover the whole week with one post, but i like to give a feel of what each designer is about and what their collection either represents, or is inspired by. Therefore on days like today there are too many things being shoen to possibly fit into one post as both Greenshows and Concept Korea have more then one person involved and remember the saying 'if you havn't got anything nice to say then you shouldn't say anyhting at all?' Well i like to say nice things and therefore it takes up space :)

Concept Korea is a ' government-led plan, designed to expand global recognition of rising Korean designers and their work.' https://twitter.com/#!/conceptkorea_kr Therefore five designers were chosen to represent the Republic of Korea and help them int their development of content, recognition and to mainly assist them in breaking into the overseas market. I think this is a really clever idea, by the way.

10.00am PARKCHOONMOO (Studio)
Choonmoo Park has had an established bramd since 1988 when she first launched DEMOO and since then has gone on to launch the PARKCHOONMOO range. Born in Kimje Korea she was raised around the clothing apparel industry as her parents has a showroom and warehouse. She went on to major in industrial design, and later fashion school and so her style is 'edgy but wearable designs... an artistic sensibility and superb fit derived from couture roots translated into ready-to-wear.' http://www.demoo.com/
As far as the collection for F/W 12 goes, she released a couple of taster shots, blurry to keep you guessing
A big fan of monochrome Park uses this consistently thorugh her designs along with layering for effect and the use of colour choices to 'punctuate' the outfits has become a signature.F/W 12 collections
