Kate Moss nude cover AnOther Man Magazine

There is no doubt that Kate Moss makes a great model and is well deserving of the term Supermodel. Over the years she may have done many questionable *sniff* things in her personal life, but the fact remains that even falling just short of 40, she has a kick-ass body. What better way to show it off then with a limited edition cover of AnOther Man magazine promoting SS12 Mens Fashion? My thoughts exactly. Here it is.

Polyvore Look S/S12 bold and beautiful

As you will have seen from my other post i am all about the colour palatte coming in for S/S12.
Pastels, bold colours, animal prints i just love all of it as there's so much you can do with it.

Last post i listed things seperately with the link to the site where they could be brought, but i think sometimes it's nice to see an ensemble that someone else puts together just to gain ideas or inspiration from. On the other hand my taste may be very different from yours and then you can always post this on your closet as what not to wear :)

I have used Polyvore - which by the way it a great site by the way, to create the picture below. Underneath each piece is numbered, explained and then a link to polyvore and a link to the shop it can be brought from.

Again this is my taste so you may or may not like it as i like putting things that clash but in a strange way go in order to create pieces that make people talk about. It's like the saying all publicity is good publicity as whether it's good or bad at least they remember you.

1. Chambray orange top: Wallis

2. MOTO pink shorts: Topshop http://us.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=33060&storeId=13052&productId=4616399&langId=-1&siteID=Hy3bqNL2jtQ-e_ql_Ej8Tfjj66EVmlWyDg&cmpid=aff_ls_tsus&_$ja=tsid:21416|prd:Hy3bqNL2jtQ

There is a bit of a trend at the moment to wear the orange and pink together in the sane dress for example as it's a combo people have deemed ok for this season, however that doesn't mean that you can't seperate the colours into different items and still have them go. Above i have the orange top paired with pink shorts. I find as long as one is brighter then the other when wearing seperates it doesn't clash, so in my case the pastel pink shorts can be worn with the brighter top.

As i have used block colours it gives you more freedom to mess with accessories - bags, shoes, jewellery  but make sure that you don't go overboard.
It would be too much it neon pink shoes and an orange bag and orange and pink feather earrings etc the look would be overwhelming, so i have tried to work in the colours without it overshadowing the top and shorts.

3. Brian Atwood Shoes: Sold at Bergdorf Goodmans http://www.polyvore.com/brian_atwood_raffia-heel_colorblock_dorsay/thing?id=48733904 can be brought at http://www.bergdorfgoodman.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod75290117&parentId=cat378802&ecid=BGALRHy3bqNL2jtQ

4. Rebecca Minkoff clutch: Sold at Neiman Marcus http://www.neimanmarcus.com/p/Rebecca-Minkoff-Fairy-Tale-Raffia-Leather-Clutch-Pink-Clutches/prod146900090/?ecid=NMALRFeedHy3bqNL2jtQ...&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=prod146900090skuNATPINKSILVER&CS_003=5630585
This cluch is actually called Fairy-tale Raffia Clutch just in case you needed anymore persuasion

Both these items contain the colour palette your working with but don't take over. Shoes can be bright because by wearing shorts your bare legs would break up the colour  - in my case long legs work to my advantage as there's a looong gap between my shorts and heels. Heels also elongate your leg and defone your calf which shows off your shoes, legs, shorts and bums.
The Minkoff clutch i just want to cuddle i love it so much! In this look it brings in the pink without screaming look at me and instead you see the beautiful bag and then notice how it pulls in to the overall look.

5. Pink eyes in a more pastel shade and blended with a few lighter shades will open the eye and create that summer look and then with either a very light blush or bronzer (Bodyshop have a great light bronzer) and a dap of mascara you have a great natural look. You could also use a natural/nude eye with browns and have a bolder lip.

This look was taken by a website callled Temptalia and they show a range of 'looks' that i really encourage you to look at as it gives some great ideas, as well as showing looks right f the seasons catwalks. http://www.temptalia.com/category/looks

6. Splash on some Mac wee coquette lipglass as with a bright eye you want a nice nude/natural lip and as i'm a gloss and not lippy fan it's MAC all the way for me http://www.polyvore.com/naturally_tinted_lipglass/thing?id=48686808

7. Chanel khaki nail varnish just changes it up slightly. Im my head i had the image of the nails over the cluch to create the contrast in colour Of course you can wear other colours but in my case i thought it would look scrummy. When loooking at the shoes you will notice a couple of threads of blue so you could always tie it in with blue nails
